Overview
Ecolab is looking for an outstanding performer to join our Greensboro site as a EHS Manager. In this role this person will be responsible for leading and managing EHS programs, compliance, and results for a specific business, facility, or region. Also, spearheading key programs or Centers of Excellence and collaborating with leaders to identify SHE priorities and programs, including performance metrics, communication, and change management. Additional notes
30% travel required for on-site inspections, audits, and hands-on support. Reports to NA SHE Manager for the EC3. Interfaces with Corporate ESG and Environmental policies to drive compliance internally and externally. Support for North America Logistics sites in environmental compliance. What you will do
Support buildings coming into scope by assessing environmental impact, ensuring permits, and developing site-specific programs. Develop and implement strategies for managing hazardous and non-hazardous waste in compliance with regulations. Uphold compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations (e.g., CWA, CAA, EPCRA, TSCA, RCRA, OPA, CERCLA, SARA). Manage data mandated by environmental permits or regulations and prepare related reports. Supervise facilities infrastructure projects for compliance with air, water, and waste regulations. Coordinate with consultants to ensure timely and budget-compliant completion of environmental projects. Serve as the primary contact for regulatory interface at all levels. Conduct technical analysis of environmental data to support corporate metrics or agency reporting. Prepare and deliver environmental training programs in collaboration with Ecolab University. Participate in Ecolab’s environmental audit program, document and track corrective actions, and manage responses to external agencies. Oversee integration of environmental software solutions to enhance business performance. Implement and maintain programs and documentation for continuous improvement of EMS in line with ISO 14001. Manage and participate in the Sustainability Program, including data collection and manipulation to support sustainability goals. Coordinate spill response programs. Assist with Safety and SMS-related projects, questions, and processes. Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Environmental Engineering required, or equivalent combination of education and 8 or more years of experience in the field of business. Experience in providing environmental compliance oversight for all media in an industrial setting. Extensive knowledge of federal, state, and local environmental regulations. Familiarity with air emissions determination, air pollution control equipment operation, CAA permitting procedures, and air pollutant modeling. Proficiency in MS Excel, Access, and Web-based Software Solutions. Preferred Qualifications
Professional Certification preferred (e.g., CSP, CAPA). Compensation
The base salary range for this position is $104,700.00 - $157,100.00. This position is eligible for annual bonus pay based on performance, per plan terms. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws. Benefits
