Save Job

Overview Keedian (formerly Tutenlabs) is transforming how buildings operate - combining technology implementation, AI-powered optimization, and managed services to help multi-site organizations cut costs, reduce emissions, and move from reactive fixes to predictive performance. Our vision is bold: a future where buildings run autonomously, so our clients can focus on what matters most.

If you’re a BAS field engineer, controls technician, or HVAC professional ready to take the next step into intelligent building systems and energy optimization — we’d love to meet you. Apply now and help us shape the next generation of smart building operations.

Role mission We are looking for a field-based technician or engineer with hands-on experience installing, troubleshooting, and commissioning Building Automation and HVAC control systems. This is not a design or office role — it's for professionals who enjoy being on-site, working directly with BAS/DDC controllers, sensors, and field devices to make systems run at their best. You will join our Field Services team, supporting commercial and retail clients to ensure their building systems perform efficiently, reliably, and sustainably.

Main Responsibilities

Install, wire, calibrate, and commission BAS, EMS, and HVAC control systems (DDC).

Perform system troubleshooting and diagnostics using PC and web-based tools (e.g., Niagara, Novar, Trend, Metasys).

Conduct low-voltage electrical testing and sensor calibration (temperature, humidity, pressure, CO₂).

Upload programs, verify points, and test sequences of operation.

Complete system start-up and commissioning documentation.

Collaborate with engineers and project managers to implement control strategies for optimal performance.

Perform preventive maintenance and recommend energy-saving adjustments.

Work with Siemens, Honeywell, Trane, Schneider, JCI, or Alerton systems (depending on project).

Travel 30–40% within the U.S. (mainly West Coast).

Minimum Requirements

Education: Technical degree or certification in Electrical, HVAC Controls, or Automation Engineering (trade school, community college, or engineering program).

Experience: Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in BAS/DDC controls, HVAC service, or EMS systems.

Strong understanding of low-voltage wiring, controllers, and sensors.

Experience with BAS software platforms such as Tridium Niagara, Novar, Trend, Metasys, Desigo, or EcoStruxure.

Ability to read control drawings, electrical schematics, and sequences of operation.

Experience commissioning or servicing HVAC equipment (RTUs, AHUs, VAVs, chillers, etc.).

Certifications: Manufacturer or BAS platform certifications (Niagara, Trend, Novar, JCI, etc.) are a plus.

Languages: Advanced English required; Spanish is a plus.

Availability: Willing to travel 30–40% within the U.S.

Benefits ⏰ Flexible schedule. Day off on your birthday. PTO Moving day off. Support for studies and training. Referral program.
