Mammography Technologist — Full Time Onsite Women\'s Health offers comprehensive mammography services with clinical expertise, innovative technology, and proprietary protocols that deliver personalized, convenient breast care for patients. The program is designed to make breast cancer screening more convenient and accessible for women. Responsibilities

Specializes in the production of screening and diagnostic mammograms for the detection of breast cancers and lesions. Responsible for the initial and ongoing success of the mammography service in the practice in which one works. Assist the practice in ensuring all eligible age-appropriate patients have annual screening mammograms; this is particularly critical in the first 18 months of a new practice. Prepare patients for the mammographic procedure and explain procedures to reduce anxieties and obtain patient cooperation. Position and adjust mammographic equipment and controls to set exposure factors based on radiographic exposure techniques and protocols. Practice radiation protection techniques, using beam-restrictive devices and patient shielding as appropriate. Follow prescribed safety standards in operating all required equipment. Examine digital images for image quality and ensure equipment is in proper working order at all times. Perform all required QA testing to comply with MQSA, ACR, and State requirements/regulations. Maintain patient confidentiality and complete all required data entry and paperwork. Participate in professional development activities and maintain professional affiliations. Prepare all required reports and data pursuant to MQSA and State requirements. Qualifications

Must be up to date on all CME credits. Hold a valid state license if applicable. Must be very patient-centric, compassionate, and computer savvy. Able to perform a variety of technical activities associated with screening and diagnostic mammography procedures. Flexible with the ability to multi-task. Experience

Mammography: 2 years (Required) License

ARRT (Required) Work Schedule & Location

Monday–Friday work schedule; no weekends. We offer an environment with the latest 3D tomosynthesis equipment in an OB/Gyn office setting. Employment Details
