The Opportunity: We have a great opportunity for a collaborative Accounts Payable Specialist to join our finance team! You will have key role maintaining the financial health and operational efficiency of our firm with responsibility for the full-cycle accounts payable process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness while supporting our project teams and upholding our commitment to excellence in everything we do. Key Responsibilities: Process and verify all vendor invoices, ensuring proper coding to projects and departments. Match purchase orders, invoices, and receipts, resolving any discrepancies in a timely manner. Prepare and process weekly check runs, ACH payments, and employee expense reimbursements. Maintain accurate and up-to-date vendor records and handle all vendor inquiries with professionalism. Assist the finance team with month-end close procedures, including reconciling accounts payable transactions. Ensure compliance with company policies and project-specific accounting procedures. Support the Controller with additional administrative tasks and financial reporting as needed. Qualifications: Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Bachelor’s degree preferred). Minimum of 2 years of experience in a full-cycle accounts payable role. Experience in the architecture, engineering, or construction (AEC) industry is a significant plus. Proficiency in Deltek Vantagepoint or similar project accounting software is strongly preferred, but not required. A high level of accuracy, organization, and impeccable attention to detail. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with project managers, vendors, and clients. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Why Join CDH?
