We are seeking a
Project Controls – Cost Lead
to support large-scale capital projects by developing and implementing cost control systems and processes. This role is responsible for financial planning, forecasting, tracking, and reporting across multiple projects, ensuring transparency and alignment between project management and finance teams. Key Responsibilities
Lead cost management for capital projects, including budgeting, forecasting, accruals, and financial reporting. Develop cost tracking and reporting tools, ensuring accurate data sharing across project and finance teams. Implement and maintain cost management systems (such as Ares Prism, EcoSys, or similar) and ensure alignment with ERP systems (e.g., SAP). Monitor project disbursements, purchasing activity, and equipment commissioning for accurate financial recognition. Provide executive-level dashboards and KPIs for project performance and earned value tracking. Partner with project managers, finance, and accounting to ensure compliance with capital project standards. Support lessons-learned reviews and continuous improvement in cost management processes. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Construction Management, or related field. 3–5 years of progressive experience in project cost control, ideally within capital-intensive industrial projects. Hands-on experience with ERP or financial systems (SAP preferred). Proficiency with cost management software such as Ares Prism, EcoSys, or similar. Advanced Excel and strong analytical/reporting skills. Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management abilities.
