American Traveler is seeking a registered Echo Technologist/Cardiac Sonographer with at least 2 years of experience and proficiency in advanced imaging and EPIC EMR. Responsibilities
Day shift schedule of five 8-hour shifts, 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM, with occasional 8:30 AM rotations Rotating weekend coverage required, 1 in every 4 weekends Work in a cardiac echo lab providing transthoracic, stress, TEE, and 3D strain imaging Expertise with GE and/or Philips ultrasound equipment is required Float between multiple campuses within the health system may be required EPIC EMR experience is mandatory Responsibilities include providing comprehensive cardiac ultrasound exams, including TEE, stress, and 3D imaging Required to float to other system facilities as needed Zero-tolerance policy for tardiness or unexcused absences Candidates must complete all compliance requirements by the deadline prior to the start date Modules are completed during orientation and are unit-based No local candidates are accepted for this role Requirements
Current ARDMS RDCS (AE) registration required Minimum 2 years of experience as an Echo Tech/Cardiac Sonographer Current BLS certification required Demonstrated experience performing TEE, stress echo, and 3D strain imaging techniques Experience with GE and/or Philips imaging platforms required Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted License required if applicable Education must be verified through a third party (certain diplomas not accepted per Florida Education Audit list) Must pass a Pass/Fail EKG exam during compliance, with two attempts permitted Benefits
