Responsibilities
Must be able to make decisions and use judgment regarding selection of equipment and best technique in process of productions of radiographs Must be able to evaluate patient\'s condition in order to assist in emergency treatment Assessment and patient care responsibilities are delivered with knowledge of patient growth and development and are appropriate to the ages of the patients served Perform a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for good high-quality images Assists physician during fluoroscopy procedures and practices sterile technique and prevents cross-contamination when necessary Performs various types of radiographs from all areas within the hospital, i.e., OR, ER, portables, EP Lab, outpatient/inpatient Requirements
High School diploma or equivalent Must be a graduate of an accredited two-year program in radiologic technology ARRT registration and NYS DOH Radiology license required BLS required- American Heart Association accepted only Salary
Base pay range: $41.26/hr - $46.85/hr. USD $41.26 - USD $46.85 /Hr. The salary range or rate listed does not include any differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
