Mammography Technologist
to perform high-quality diagnostic mammographic procedures using advanced imaging systems. The technologist will ensure optimal image quality, patient safety, and adherence to regulatory standards while providing compassionate care. Responsibilities: · Perform screening and diagnostic mammography procedures in accordance with department protocols. · Operate and maintain mammography equipment (Hologic, Solenia) ensuring calibration and quality standards are met. · Position patients accurately and maintain patient comfort and safety during imaging. · Evaluate images for technical quality and proper positioning before submission. · Document patient history, procedures performed and maintain accurate records in PACS/RIS. · Adhere to radiation safety regulations and infection control policies. · Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members to support workflow efficiency.
