Job Summary: Midwest Refuah Health Center, a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) Look-Alike, is seeking a compassionate, board-certified Pediatric Dentist to join our growing dental clinic. Rooted in a mission to provide accessible and affordable care, this role offers the opportunity to deliver comprehensive dental care to children and adolescents in a supportive, culturally sensitive, and family-centered environment. Key Responsibilities: Provide preventative and restorative dental care to infants, children, and adolescents, including patients with special healthcare needs Diagnose and treat oral diseases, developmental conditions, and trauma specific to pediatric patients Administer nitrous oxide and local anesthesia in accordance with state regulations and MRHC protocols Perform pulpotomies, stainless steel crowns, space maintenance, extractions, and composite restorations Educate patients and their families on oral hygiene, nutrition, growth and development, and preventive care Work collaboratively with other dental providers, hygienists, medical providers, and administrative staff Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and treatment documentation Ensure compliance with infection control standards, HIPAA, OSHA, and Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) requirements Participate in quality improvement initiatives and community outreach as needed All other duties as assigned Qualifications: DDS or DMD from a CODA-accredited dental school Completion of a CODA-accredited Pediatric Dentistry Residency Program Active and unrestricted Illinois state dental license Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Pediatric Dentistry Valid DEA and Controlled Substance licenses for Illinois Malpractice insurance (or eligibility to obtain) CPR/BLS (PALS preferred) certification Minimum of 3 years of experience in a pediatric dental setting (preferred) Excellent communication skills with children and caregivers Commitment to providing trauma-informed, equitable care to diverse communities Benefits: Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off, floating holidays, and recognized holidays 401(k) retirement plan Life and Disability Insurance FSA and HSA options License renewal fees covered Malpractice insurance, including tail coverage, is fully covered by MRHC Annual CEU (Continuing Education Unit) stipend Tuition Reimbursement Program Access to HRSA Loan Repayment Programs (for eligible roles) Midwest Refuah Health Center is an equal opportunity employer.
