Introduction: Our client is a privately owned hospital in Prescott Valley, Arizona, seeking a Full-Time or Part-Time Associate Veterinarian to join their team. The practice treats cats, dogs, birds, reptiles, and other exotic pets in a full-service facility that offers General Practice, orthopedic surgery, laparoscopic surgery, and endoscopy.
Working Hours The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. It is closed on Saturdays and Sundays. Flexible scheduling is supported, with options for full-time or part-time team members to maintain work-life balance.
Role Description And Responsibilities The Associate Veterinarian will provide complete care including wellness exams, diagnostics, dentistry, surgeries, orthopedic and laparoscopic procedures, and exotic animal care. The hospital welcomes both new graduates and experienced veterinarians, offering mentorship to support clinical growth and confidence.
Practice Details The clinic is equipped with digital and dental radiography, ultrasound, laparoscope, arthroscope, endoscope, full in-house IDEXX laboratory (including coagulation and blood gas analyzers), tonovet, Sevoflurane and Isoflurane anesthesia, patient monitors, fluid and syringe pumps, vessel sealer, cryogun, oxygen generation systems, cold laser, Phovia therapy, video otoscope, and an electronic medical records system (Intravet). Many cases, including advanced surgeries, are managed entirely in-house, offering excellent opportunities for professional development.
