Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - East Orange, NJ
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is sought to support a dynamic K-12 school setting in East Orange, NJ. This contract position spans the current school year, starting ASAP and concluding on June 19, 2026. The role offers an opportunity to engage with a diverse student population, providing essential speech and language services tailored to their individual needs.
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Deliver therapy to students with speech and language impairments
Collaborate with school staff and families to support student progress
Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school district policies
Participate in meetings and case conferences as necessary
Qualifications and Experience
Valid SLP certification/licensure appropriate for school settings
Experience or training in pediatric speech-language pathology
Ability to manage varying caseloads within an educational environment
Willingness to participate in ongoing supervision if a Clinical Fellow
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with educators and parents
