Senior Office Assistant
Job Location: Sacramento, California
Job Type: Temporary
Pay Rate: $25-$25.61/hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday; 8am-5pm
Description of Position:
Do you have experience as a Senior Office Assistant and are looking for a temporary opportunity with the County of Sacramento? We are seeking a detail oriented, organized, and professional individual to join the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors team. This position is ideal for someone who thrives on accuracy, enjoys structured tasks, and can maintain focus while performing repetitive work such as data entry and application review.
Job Responsibilities:
Monitor multiple calendars for conference rooms, board chambers, and hearing rooms Assist with records retention, warehouse movement, and established storage methods Use OneBase to print and verify agenda materials; assemble binders for board meetings Work with management on assigned projects and administrative tasks Process and log incoming claims, appeals, and legal records Collaborate with the AgendaNet team to post meeting agendas Cross-train staff and provide coverage support as needed

Proven experience in administrative or clerical roles within a public agency or office environment Excellent communication, writing, and organizational skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other office technologies Reliable, punctual, and customer service oriented Professional demeanor and ability to handle confidential information
