About the Role We are seeking a motivated Project Engineer to support our ongoing projects reporting to the Project Manager. The ideal candidate will have a design background and be eager to expand their skills into project management and multidisciplinary coordination.

Responsibilities

Develop and review engineering designs using CAD software

Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives are met

Analyse design requirements and provide innovative solutions

Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and reports

Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets

Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations

Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand project needs

Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments

Implement design modifications and improvements as needed

Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance

What we need from you

Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Construction Engineering, Architecture, MEP, or a related field.

Experience in railway projects and/or a design background (Civil/Architectural/MEP) is a strong plus.

Minimum 3 years of experience in design, construction, technical office, or project coordination.

Strong understanding of design processes and an interest in project management activities such as planning, coordination, stakeholder management activities and documentation.

Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project, Aconex, SharePoint) is an advantage.

Excellent communication skills in Arabic and English (written and spoken).

Solid understanding of project documentation, reporting, and administrative workflows.

Proactive, organized, and eager to learn from all disciplines; able to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
