$116,000.00/yr - $174,000.00/yr Position Summary

What you'll do Communicate with or to individuals or groups verbally and/or in writing (e.g., customers, suppliers, associates). Drive, develop, and implement the business plan for the area of responsibility to achieve facility goals (e.g., production, quality, safety) and implement operational improvements. Forecast and follow up on staffing, workload, and performance results to meet business demands for workload and performance results. Manage assigned financial aspects by monitoring and tracking expenses against budget, monitoring asset utilization, and preparing/reviewing/analyzing business reports. Monitor and ensure facility-wide compliance with Logistics and company quality and safety standards, policies, procedures, and directives by developing, distributing, and/or maintaining procedures and supporting documentation. Investigate and ensure associate, customer, and supplier concerns are resolved using own judgment or by consulting others when needed. Serve as a community liaison by participating in local and community organizations and charitable activities; champion company-sponsored programs and events to associates, customers, and the local community. Supervise and manage associates and leaders in area of responsibility by giving direction, communicating goals, monitoring performance, and providing feedback; identify training and development needs and provide opportunities for learning and growth; teach and support Logistics and company policies and procedures; participate in hiring, promotion, coaching, teaching, and evaluation of associates facility-wide. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses; certain positions may include additional compensation such as: Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) based on location Stock Minimum Qualifications Outlined below are the required minimum qualifications for this position. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in business or a related field (e.g., Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Financial Management, Production/Operations Management) and 2 years of experience in a senior management role within an operations/distribution/logistics environment, supervising, evaluating, mentoring, and developing managers/supervisors; managing workload; and participating in hiring and promotion of employees facility-wide OR 2 years of experience as a Walmart Logistics Operations Manager including supervising, evaluating, mentoring, and developing associates; managing associate workload; and participating in hiring and promotion of associates OR 4 years of experience in a senior management role in an operations/distribution/logistics/retail environment, supervising, evaluating, mentoring, and developing managers/supervisors; managing workload; and participating in hiring and promotion of employees facility-wide. Associates will be required to attend and successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments (e.g., Academy trainings, Open Door trainings).
