Base pay range $33.00/hr - $43.00/hr
Position Summary
Drive sales in the Vision Center by ensuring effective merchandise presentation, accurate and competitive pricing, proper signing, and inventory levels.
Budget and forecast sales and assess economic trends and community needs.
Enforce and provide direction and guidance to Associates on proper Customer‑Member service approaches and techniques.
Ensure compliance with company and legal policies, procedures, and regulations for the Vision Center.
Oversee implementation of and participate in community outreach programs and encourage Associates to serve as community members.
Implement and monitor asset protection and safety controls and oversee safety operational and quality assurance reviews.
Develop and implement action plans to improve performance and provide direction on executing company programs and strategic initiatives.
Provide supervision and development opportunities for Associates, including hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, providing recognition, and promoting a sense of belonging.
Ensure the provision of quality eyewear by consulting with and educating Members, selecting products based on Member needs, obtaining measurements, verifying prescriptions, performing minor frame repair, and maintaining optical equipment.

Minimum Qualifications
Completion of 2 or more years of college or 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience or 2 years’ general work experience including 1 year’s optical experience.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Current eligibility to work as an optician or apprentice optician under applicable state laws, regulations, and/or rules.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supervising associates.
Ability to practice optical services and participate in community outreach programs.
Willingness to travel between locations within the state.
