Position Summary: Do you have a knack for helping people, following recipes, and organization? Our prepared meal and rotisserie chicken associates prepare fresh food items daily for our members by following recipes and preparing our always warm and ready rotisserie chicken. You will also wrap, label, and store merchandise to ensure our items are fresh for members. You may juggle several tasks in a short amount of time while helping members with bakery orders. Your smile can make the difference between a good shopping experience and a great one. You won’t just prepare fresh food—you’ll help a family have a great meal. You’ll be part of a team that offers customers more of what they love, for less. You will make an impact by: Ensuring high-quality products are available in our prepared foods area Ensuring shelves are clean, maintaining temperature control, verifying expiration dates, and disposing of lesser-quality food products Preparing and serving ready-to-eat food Maintaining the Sales Floor in accordance with Company policies and procedures by handling claims and returns, zoning the area, organizing merchandise, and identifying shrink and damages Maintaining a clean, sanitized, and member-ready area You will be involved in: Be a Team Member: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product specifications related to prepared food merchandise; collaborate with cross-functional teams; educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources; communicate effectively with team members; and be flexible to work in other areas as needed Be an Expert: Prepare food according to item specifications; plan future productions and mass productions; prepare for seasonality; adhere to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, inventory management; operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment; and understand product and layout execution Be a Techie: Use digital tools to drive sales and improve the shopping experience; utilize handheld technology to support production, training, and product quality with the member in mind; adapt to new tools and encourage others to use them Be an Owner: Drive area performance; use digital tools; manage high exposure and expectations; stock and rotate merchandise; ensure quality and date control; reduce waste; guide peers and respond to customer needs Be a Talent Ambassador: Represent the department and club by valuing the member experience in meat area and modeling high quality service and products; perform basics at the highest level of quality; show energy, commitment, and passion Note: The information is not a comprehensive inventory of duties.
