Responsibilities
Teach NYSTCE topics to students through 1-on-1 online sessions using the Varsity Tutors Live Learning Platform. Set your own hours and tutor as much as you’d like. Invoice for tutoring sessions and receive payments processed by Varsity Tutors. Utilize the AI-powered Tutor Copilot to enhance sessions with real-time instructional support, lesson generation, and engagement features. Get matched with students whose needs align with your teaching style and expertise. What We Look For
Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style. Expertise in NYSTCE and the ability to explain concepts clearly. Ability to personalize lessons and adapt to different learning styles. Priority given to those with tutoring experience, teaching experience, and graduate-level education. Compensation and How You Get Paid
Earn incrementally higher pay for each session with the same student—up to $40/hour. Get paid up to twice per week for tutoring sessions conducted and invoiced. Set your own schedule and tutor as much as you’d like. Tutor remotely using our platform without commuting. We handle logistics—you just invoice for sessions; payments are processed by Varsity Tutors. About Varsity Tutors
