Overview
Maintenance Associate at Sam’s Club. Base pay range: $16.00/hr - $23.00/hr. This role focuses on keeping the parking lot, restrooms, and floors clean, and delivering a positive first and last impression for members. You should maintain a positive attitude to ensure a great member experience from start to finish. Responsibilities
Maintains safety of Facility by following safety standards and procedures, including safety sweeps, forklift spotting procedures, handling and disposing of hazardous materials, following Company steel standard guidelines, and reporting unsafe situations to Management. Cleans all areas of the Facility (floors, windows, restrooms, trash receptacles) using approved chemicals, supplies, tools, and equipment in line with Company procedures. Ensures a safe and clean environment for Members and Associates by performing maintenance as necessary, responding to spills, operating floor scrubbers, and disposing of cardboard, plastic, and trash per the Company Environmental Sustainability Program. Maintains appropriate levels of Company-approved chemicals and supplies, rotates and stores chemicals properly, and places orders to replenish supplies when low. Follow proper procedures for handling and disposing of hazardous materials and for forklift operations. Clean and maintain Facility areas (floors, windows, restrooms, trash receptacles) per procedures and with approved products. Respond to spills and keep the Facility safe and clean for Members and Associates; operate floor scrubbers and manage waste disposal in line with sustainability guidelines. Ensure chemical supplies are stocked, rotated, and stored properly; place orders to replenish supplies as needed. Benefits
