Overview

Seeking an experienced Electric | Controls Engineer to lead complex automation and control system projects within a high-speed manufacturing or consumer products environment. This individual will play a key role in designing, programming, and commissioning control systems while providing leadership and mentorship to a team of Technicians. The ideal candidate combines strong technical depth in PLC | HMI programming with proven project management and leadership skills. Responsibilities

Lead and execute automation and control system projects from design through commissioning. Program and troubleshoot PLCs (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or similar) and HMIs. Provide leadership and mentorship to Technicians and cross-functional team members. Manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong organizational and communication skills. Collaborate on system design, integration, and commissioning within a high-speed manufacturing or consumer products environment. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, or a related technical field (other degrees considered with relevant experience). Minimum 4 years of experience in industrial controls, preferably in consumer products or high-speed manufacturing environments. Strong experience programming and troubleshooting PLCs (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or similar) and HMIs. Proven project management experience - able to lead multi-disciplinary teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to coach, mentor, and develop technical staff. Experience with medium-voltage power systems, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and AC|DC drives. Familiarity with DCS and/or robotics systems a plus (not required). Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced industrial environment. Details
