Overview
Reporting directly to the Maintenance Manager at our Louisville, KY facility, you will plan and schedule all plant maintenance activities including the coordination of preventive, planned, and un-planned maintenance. Identify problems or bottlenecks in production processes and resolve issues. Ensure production resources including materials, equipment and human resources are available to maintain production schedules. Process and prioritize work orders, examines and determines best approach for work order completion. How Will You Affect Our Business?
Ensure parts inventory is adequate to support production/drumbeat activity at the lowest possible level. Lead Pre and Post Drumbeat meetings and all Drumbeat activities. Communicate daily with maintenance, production, accounting and vendors to resolve issues. Communicate daily and weekly notes on planned and unplanned work. Add parts to tasks (PM03 PM01) and verify accurate tagging in LEDS, PM02 notification, and BDAR. Assist Predictive Maintenance supervisor with BDAR review. Requisitions parts and materials for work order packages and non-stocked items. Develop projects for continuous improvement within the department and the plant, including reliability improvements. Review work order backlog and rework to determine cause and provide improvement recommendations. Reduce inventory through standardization – (excess inventory). Work with other planners on updating PMs. Supervisory responsibilities (weekend and vacation coverage). Do You Have What It Takes?
