We are in search of an enthusiastic and innovative Senior Project Management Specialist who excels in tackling complex challenges, delivering significant outcomes, and leading diverse teams with purposeful direction. This role requires ownership of project visions, adept navigation of ambiguity, and delivering tangible value through meticulous planning and execution. Key Responsibilities:

Lead projects ranging from small to large scale, with budgets between $100,000 and $3,000,000+, ensuring stakeholder engagement and measurable achievements. Drive effective decision-making by synthesizing information, asking insightful questions, and challenging established assumptions. Utilize Project Management Institute (PMI) methodologies, championing best practices in: Scope Management Time Management Cost Management Quality Management Communications Management Risk/Issue Management Stakeholder Management Systems Development Life Cycle Serve as a reliable communicator with project stakeholders, leadership, and team members, offering valuable insights beyond mere status updates. Build and maintain strong relationships and effectively negotiate with clients. Guide and support consultants to align with the PMO and regional initiatives. Collaborate with management to resolve resource challenges and enhance project team capabilities. Provide leadership and direction to team members in a matrix environment. Employ advanced problem-solving methods to identify root causes and propose actionable solutions. Detect and implement opportunities for project enhancements. Ensure that project objectives are met or surpassed. Support strategic initiatives to elevate project management practices within the team. Facilitate project management training sessions. Be available for after-hours support and necessary travel. Essential Skills:

Extensive experience managing software development projects throughout the SDLC. Strong analytical and organizational skills to effectively plan and manage work within set constraints. Exceptional communication skills to influence project outcomes with clients and team members. Proficiency in project management practices, procedures, and documentation. Experience in building and maintaining project schedules using MS Project. Adept at working effectively with remote teams and clients. Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree. 8+ years of project management experience, specifically managing complex software development projects. Deep understanding of technology solutions and strong experience within the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Project Management Certification (PMP). Familiarity with K-12 Education Technology Solutions is preferred. Experience in education consulting is a plus. Working Conditions:

Salary for this role varies widely based on multiple factors including location, role, skills, and experience. The expected range for this position is $86,200-$120,000. Additionally, benefits include medical and dental coverage, 401k, paid time off, parental leave, and bereavement leave.
