Director, Executive Development role at Salesforce. Summary: The global Executive Talent & Succession (ETS) team drives the next generation of leadership at Salesforce. We architect the future leadership bench, engage, empower, and retain senior executives (SVP+) to ensure they are agile, innovative, and strong leaders who champion human-agent collaboration. The team creates and sustains a strong executive leadership bench through predictive succession planning, strategic onboarding, and personalized development journeys to provide a competitive advantage. Description: The Director, Executive Development role is to develop the future of executive leadership at Salesforce. The role leads the design and delivery of development experiences for SVP+ executives, including cohort-based experiential learning, custom programs, and 1:1 and team executive coaching. A visionary leader who understands Generative AI and Agents and leverages them for program efficiency and executive awareness is required. The Executive Development Director will use deep learning design/facilitation expertise, business acumen, and senior leadership development expertise to create innovative, measurable learning experiences that strengthen the talent pipeline in a fast-paced, global technology company. Responsibilities

Serves as one of Exec Talent’s subject matter experts regarding what Salesforce needs from its most senior leaders, and what these leaders need to grow and perform at their best in a sustainable and healthy way. Provides day-to-day management of leadership development experiences, including strategy, design, delivery, evaluation, and ongoing relationship management with internal and external stakeholders and partners. Partners with the business, key stakeholders, and Employee Success Business Partners in all phases of the development process. Collaborates with 1-3 team members to design and deliver experiences to Salesforce’s senior leaders and the broader Exec Talent & Succession team and global leadership development team. Facilitates live development sessions, interactive meetings, and a variety of programs for diverse audiences of senior executives, ELT members, customers, and speakers. Consults with business executives to understand development needs, identifies sponsorship for programs, and ensures alignment with business partners. Stays aligned with Salesforce business strategies and external industry priorities to ensure content relevance. Provides strategic and operational support for design and delivery of development, teaming, and coaching programs, including budget, vendor, and stakeholder management. Develops evaluation tools to measure impact (business results, ROI, talent pipeline, behavior improvements). Drives continuous improvement, innovation, accountability, and scalability of development initiatives. Develops and maintains learning assets, curriculum, and executive development best practices aligned with organizational goals and values. Acts as mentor and coach to colleagues and emerging facilitators, coaches, and development practitioners. Manages multi-stakeholder special projects as needed, including assembling project teams, prioritization, and delivering results. Requirements

10+ years of progressive Leadership/Organization Development (OD) or Organizational Effectiveness (OE) experience within large, complex, global organizations. Graduate degree or certificate in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Leadership/OD, Human Resources, or Business Administration, or equivalent experience. Business Acumen & Strategic Integration: deep knowledge of internal business strategies and external trends; translate imperatives into talent and leadership development strategies with measurable value. Executive-Level Stakeholder Management & Communication: success navigating complex structures, influencing outcomes, and building trusted partnerships with C-suite and SVP-level executives. Credibility & Command: strong verbal and written communication; ability to present to senior executives and distill complex concepts into clear narratives. Agility, Ambiguity, and Pace: adaptability in a fast-paced, high-growth global environment. Executive-Level Learning Design & Delivery: expert facilitation for senior executives; knowledge of leadership development, change management, and instructional design for adults. Drive AI Integration & Future Readiness: research, pilot, and incorporate AI/Agent technologies into program delivery and content to prepare leaders for an AI-enabled future. Travel
