Position Summary
The HVAC Technician is responsible for maintaining all building facilities and supporting systems in excellent GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) condition. This individual performs maintenance, repair, and improvement activities safely and efficiently, ensuring all work complies with company policies, procedures, and regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities
Perform routine and preventive maintenance on facility systems, including HVAC, plumbing, mechanical, electrical, and building infrastructure. Maintain all facilities and equipment in compliance with GMP, safety, and environmental regulations. Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment or system failures to minimize downtime. Support facility and equipment qualification, calibration, and maintenance documentation as required. Monitor and maintain utilities such as compressed air, chilled water, steam, and process gases. Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency calls. Maintain accurate maintenance records, logs, and work orders using the company’s CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System). Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance and repair services. Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training preferred. Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in facilities maintenance within a pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or manufacturing environment. Strong working knowledge of HVAC systems, mechanical repairs, and general building maintenance. Familiarity with GMP, SOPs, and regulatory compliance standards. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals. Seniority level
