We are looking for a Technology Engineer to support projects by learning Goodyear systems and processes in collaboration with more experienced team members. This role involves seeking solutions to technical problems, performing assigned tasks, and demonstrating an entry-level understanding of engineering concepts while gaining hands-on experience in a dynamic and innovative environment. What You’ll Do Learn and apply current technology and standards to meet product requirements. Avoid inappropriate level or risk. Bring creative ideas to the table. Being good with self-starting tasks. Learn and apply appropriate problem-solving strategies to deliver defined objectives to meet business needs. Work within environment and culture that encourages collaboration between teams. Learn and apply appropriate tools and methods to solve problems and make good decisions. Achieve assigned work, while learning the impact of the result. Learn and apply appropriate data analysis techniques. Learn and apply project management tools and standards of execution for assigned projects. Develop and apply established risk management standards in the execution of projects. Learn and apply basic project management tools and techniques for successful completion of projects. Develop an understanding and apply new knowledge to resolve conflicts in projects. Demonstrates strong prioritization and time management skills to effectively manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. What We’re Looking For Required: Bachelor’s degree in science/technology/engineering/Math. Required: 0-3 years’ experience. Required: Learn and apply new skills from knowledge gained through additional education/experience/training. Required: Learn functional relationship of assigned organization. Required: Develop awareness and pursuit of experiences on cross-functional assignments, projects, plant assignments, and other divisional positions available for self-development. Desired: Bachelor’s in chemical Engineer. Desired: PE, PMP or similar engineering / project management certifications Desired: Master in related engineering field. Desired: Proven experience managing direct reports or leading teams in a manufacturing, technical, or operations environment. What Will Set You Apart Demonstrate a positive attitude.
