Overview The merchandising & stocking associate connects all the dots to ensure members can find what they need. Responsibilities may include moving inventory in the backroom, unloading trucks, fulfilling club pick-up orders, stocking shelves, and assisting members. This is a fast-paced, physical role that can be demanding — like being paid to go to the gym. We are part of a team with a common goal: help members find more of what they love, for less.
Base pay Base pay range:
$16.00/hr - $23.00/hr .
Responsibilities
Unload trucks and promptly stock shelves and backroom inventory
Assist fellow associates as needed throughout the store
Sort and stock products on shelves and in the backroom
Engage with vendors and drivers with a positive attitude
Maintain a clean, neat, member-ready area
Support club pick-up orders, staging and selection according to policy
Ensure product rotation, display standards, and pricing accuracy
Assist customers with locating merchandise and answering questions
What you will do Provides member service by acknowledging the member and identifying needs; guides and supports members regarding self-service technology; assists with purchasing decisions; locates merchandise; resolves member issues; and promotes company products and services.
Maintains safety of the facility by performing safety checks, following forklift spotting procedures, handling and disposing of hazardous materials per policy, and reporting unsafe conditions.
Maintains sales floor and merchandise presentation by zoning the area, stocking and organizing merchandise, and setting up displays; removing damaged goods; pricing and signing merchandise; identifying shrink and damages; securing fragile items.
Monitors product quality and sanitation; ensures proper product rotation and displays promotional and seasonal merchandise.
Follows company policies and ethics; participates in Open Door Policy and executes related business processes.
Completes assignments and priorities by using available resources; collaborates with managers, co-workers, customers, and partners; communicates progress and deadlines; identifies improvement opportunities and adapts to change and feedback.
