Position Summary NOTE - CPA REQUIRED We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to play a pivotal role in our International finance team. Reporting to the Senior Manager, the following are the essential functions: Oversees the accounting and financial activities for an assigned country or countries Facilitate and complete monthly close procedures Processes divisional journal entries and the related balance sheet reconciliations Facilitate and complete monthly/quarterly/annual tax filings Liaison with local employees/vendors/legal counsel/customer/other departments for any accounting/tax/invoicing/debit credit memos/payments/compliance needs Assist with financial and tax audits Other projects as assigned The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, a problem-solver, and a collaborative team player with a passion for continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Financial Close & General Ledger Management:

Lead and manage the timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing processes, including preparing and analyzing complex journal entries, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations. Financial Reporting & Analysis:

Prepare and review financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) and provide insightful analysis of variances against budget and forecast to support management decision-making. Compliance & Controls:

Ensure strict adherence to US GAAP and/or IFRS and internal controls, including SOX requirements. Identify control weaknesses and recommend improvements. Audits & Tax Support:

Coordinate and support internal and external audits by preparing documentation and liaising with auditors and tax teams. Process Improvement:

Proactively identify opportunities to streamline accounting operations and leverage financial technology systems (ERP, advanced Excel) to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Team Collaboration:

Collaborate effectively with cross-functional departments (Operations, Sales, etc.) and mentor junior accounting staff, fostering a culture of teamwork and professional development. Qualifications Education:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required. Experience:

Minimum of 4-6 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within a medium to large company environment. International experience is a plus Certifications:

Big Four background is a plus. CPA certification required Seniority level
