Schedule Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM Weekend: Every Other Weekend
Job Description The Registered Nurse (RN) functions within the Health System's mission, vision, and values, assuming responsibility and accountability for the care of assigned patients during their shift. The RN engages in comprehensive patient care through assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care using age-specific criteria. Judgments are made based on scientific knowledge and clinical skills, ensuring high standards are maintained. Additionally, the RN assists in planning, directing, and teaching non-RN staff, including LPNs, PCTs, and Unit Secretaries.
Responsibilities
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
Make clinical judgments based on scientific knowledge.
Assist in directing and teaching non-RN staff.
Provide care according to age-specific criteria.
Float to all units within skill level as required.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
1+ years of experience required; immediate Open Heart Recovery experience preferred, ideally 3 years of recent experience.
BLS (AHA) certification required.
ACLS (AHA) certification required.
NIHSS certification required.
TNCC certification is highly preferred.
Must hold a valid nursing license in the state of Ohio.
