About The Role We’re looking for an HR Coordinator to join the HR Team! This is a full-time, onsite position located at our downtown Phoenix office. 75% of the position will consist of providing administrative support to the HR Team. 25% of the position will require general office support. This is an ideal role for someone that wants to get more HR experience, coaching and development.

Essential Responsibilities 75% HR Support

Submit to IT new hire tickets in the applicable system.

Ensure all new hire documents are completed and submitted in a timely manner. Follow-up with candidates to provide support and elevate questions when appropriate.

Ensure all new hires submit a photo, upload photo.

Onboarding employees in the Phoenix office: Issue parking garage, office, and elevator badges, submit parking garage applications, and prepare name plates.

Submit parking garage applications.

Offboarding Activities

Submit to IT offboarding tickets in the applicable system.

Oversee badge deactivation and reassignments.

HR Administrative Support

Assist with filing documents.

Complete first draft of unemployment claim responses, employment and medical verifications.

Distribute HR mail to the appropriate individual.

Assist with documentation preparation for training, meetings, open enrollment.

Recruiting Support

Assist hiring managers with scheduling interviews in the Applicant Tracking System.

Upon request from Recruiter, respond to candidate inquiries.

Support Recruiter with recruiting efforts for specific roles, to include resume screening and phone screens.

Update the Applicant Tracking System upon request.

Culture-Related Activities & Support

Assist with logistics for employee events (room setup/clean up, material preparation i.e., for All-Hands meetings and offsite events).

Coordinate logistics for employee gatherings (e.g., bagels, Friday lunches).

Prepare visuals for the lobby monitor.

Prepare the quarterly newsletter.

Support employee engagement initiatives and office celebrations.

25% General Office Support Front Desk & Office Operations

Greet visitors, issue guest badges, and validate parking.

Answer and route incoming calls to appropriate team members.

Sort and distribute mail; manage shipping requests via USPS, UPS, and FedEx.

Maintain inventory of office supplies, snacks, and beverages.

Perform light cleaning of common areas and kitchens.

Submit and track facility service requests via online ticketing portal.

Manage suite, elevator, and parking access using OpenPath.

Create and escalated IT support tickets in HelpDesk system.

Requirements Qualifications

Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field OR 1 year of experience supporting HR or recruiting.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Detail-oriented with the ability to easily manage multiple priorities.

Friendly and professional demeanor with a strong sense of initiative.
