Staff Accountant
to help ensure the financial accuracy behind the products we proudly create. Reporting to the Controller, the
Staff Accountant
will play a critical role in maintaining accurate inventory and COGS records to support operations, reporting, and strategic decision-making. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working across teams, digging into details, and understanding the financial engine behind a product-based business. Key Responsibilities
Maintain and reconcile inventory records across manufacturing and on-site distribution operations Monitor inventory movements, transfers, adjustments, and scrap to ensure timely and accurate recording Perform month-end closing tasks related to inventory and cost of goods sold (COGS) Analyze inventory variances and cost fluctuations; investigate and resolve discrepancies Support the development and maintenance of standard costs for raw materials, WIP, and finished goods Assist with inventory cycle counts and year-end physical inventory Partner with operations, production, and procurement teams to improve inventory accuracy and cost controls Prepare journal entries and inventory-related reporting for the accounting team Recommend and help implement process improvements related to inventory and cost accounting Ensure accuracy of inventory reporting within ERP system (NetSuite) Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience) 1–3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment Knowledge of inventory accounting principles and cost of goods sold, preferred Proficient in Excel and comfortable navigating ERP systems (NetSuite experience is a plus) High attention to detail with strong reconciliation and analysis skills Effective communicator and cross-functional collaborator Curious, process-oriented, and eager to grow in an operations-driven accounting role At Ledge, we value diversity and inclusion and are committed to providing equal employment opportunities to all individuals.
