Overview
We’re seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys maintaining accurate financial records, supporting day-to-day accounting operations, and contributing to a collaborative office environment.
As an Accountant, you’ll coordinate the fiscal operations of the organization—monitoring financial activities, managing transactions, and ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
Base pay $65,000.00/yr - $80,000.00/yr
Key Responsibilities
Monitor and maintain accurate financial records for the organization and various events.
Record and reconcile all incoming and outgoing transactions.
Analyze costs, trends, and accounting operations to identify inefficiencies or areas for improvement.
Reconcile reports and authenticate financial information using receipts and supporting documentation.
Manage daily, monthly, and annual accounting activities, including reporting and special projects.
Handle general ledger bookkeeping within QuickBooks.
Assist in preparing and managing annual budgets by compiling and analyzing financial data.
Manage client accounts, including payment schedules, invoicing, and collections.
Prepare periodic financial statements and internal reports.
Coordinate with banks, vendors, and external partners for deposits, wire transfers, reconciliations, and other transactions.
Prepare annual federal, state, and local filings, and maintain corporate and employee business certifications.
Support forecasting and financial modeling to project company performance and expenses.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills & Abilities
Strong communication skills—able to work effectively with internal teams and external partners.
Proficient in QuickBooks and QuickBooks Online.
Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Solid knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles.
Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
Education & Experience
High school diploma with relevant experience required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
3–5 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience required.
Additional Information
Work Schedule: Monday–Friday (Standard Hours)
Location: Onsite, in-office position.
