The Criminal Justice Program in the L. Douglas Wilder School of Government and Public Affairs at Virginia Commonwealth University is recruiting applicants for teaching adjunct positions. The pool will be accessed as openings arise and the Program will contact persons in the pool whose credentials match our teaching needs.
Duties
Teaching courses as needed.
Ability to successfully teach both in-person and online.
Must grade all assignments and exams in a timely manner.
Respond to student inquiries within 24 hours.
Submit finals according to school policy.
Minimum Qualifications
Must have a bachelor\'s degree in Criminal Justice or related field.
Demonstrated ability to work in and foster an environment of respect, professionalism and civility with a population of faculty, staff, and students from all backgrounds and experiences, or a commitment to do so as a faculty member at VCU.
Preferred Qualifications
Masters in Criminal Justice or related fields.
Salary Range:
$1,437 per credit ($4,311 for a 3-credit course).
