The merchandising & stocking associate role involves starting a fulfilling career at Sam’s Club. Responsibilities include providing member service, stocking and organizing merchandise, ensuring product rotation and quality, maintaining safety and housekeeping standards, supporting club pick-up orders, and collaborating with managers and other associates to meet store goals. Provides member service by acknowledging the member and identifying member needs; guiding and supporting members regarding self-service technology; assisting with purchasing decisions; locating merchandise; resolving member issues; and promoting the company’s products and services. Maintains safety of the facility by conducting safety checks; following forklift spotting procedures; handling and disposing of hazardous materials according to procedures; and reporting unsafe situations to management. Maintains the sales floor and merchandise presentation by zoning the area; stocking and organizing merchandise; setting up and cleaning displays; removing damaged goods; pricing merchandise; identifying shrink and damages; and securing fragile and high-shrink items. Monitors quality and sanitation by ensuring product rotation and recalls are followed, and ensuring prominent display of promotional and seasonal merchandise. Ensures compliance with company policies and ethical standards in executing business processes and practices. Completes work assignments by prioritizing tasks, collaborating with managers and coworkers, meeting deadlines, communicating progress, and adapting to change. Supports club pick-up orders by picking and staging orders according to policy and procedures. The hourly wage range for this position is $16.00 to $23.00. Additional compensation may be paid in premiums under certain conditions. Benefits
