Established as a dual-diagnosis center, we specialize in treating adult clients struggling with addiction and co-occurring mental health conditions. We are dedicated to providing comprehensive and individualized care to support our clients on their journey to recovery.
Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Substance Abuse Counselor, located in Challis, ID. The Substance Abuse Counselor will be responsible for developing and implementing treatment plans, providing case management, and facilitating individual and group therapy sessions. Additional responsibilities include assessing clients' needs, conducting relapse prevention programs, and supporting clients in managing chemical dependency and mental health challenges.
Qualifications
Skills in Treatment Planning
Experience with Chemical Dependency and Relapse Prevention
Knowledge of Mental Health and co-occurring conditions
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
Experience in residential treatment settings is a plus
Bachelor's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related field
Relevant licensure or certification in substance abuse counseling
