is seeking a Field Service Foreperson (On-Call/Emergency Response Schedule). This position will supervise the direct work of Field Technicians and oversee emergency response tasks, including emergency spill cleanup, hazardous waste cleanup, site remediation (tank and pit cleaning), equipment decontamination, and handling of hazardous materials. This role supports the company’s safety-conscious operations and contributes to on-site environmental, energy and industrial services. Base pay range
$18.00/hr - $49.00/hr Responsibilities
Supervise Field Technicians and Forepersons in emergency response and field service tasks. Execute projects/jobs within budget and on time. Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA and health & safety standards and regulations. Coordinate manpower, equipment and resources with the Coordinator to complete field service and emergency response projects. Manage large-scale field service and emergency response projects when directed. Engage in strenuous physical labor and operate light and heavy equipment; use various hand tools and powered industrial tools. Wear and use a variety of PPE correctly, including respirators, protective clothing, and body protection in different combinations. Work in varied temperatures, indoor/outdoor conditions, and potentially hazardous or corrosive environments. Work at elevations, in confined spaces, and from ladders/scaffolding; assist in field sampling and meter calibration. Complete related paperwork, such as worksheets, vehicle and equipment inspections, and permits. Follow local, state (provincial) and federal compliance regulations; safely operate vehicles per DOT and other requirements. Attend safety and compliance meetings and be on call for emergency response on a rotating basis as required. Perform duties related to site remediation, equipment decontamination and handling of hazardous materials by position. Per position, may take on lead responsibilities. Required Qualifications
Previous experience in a physically intensive role. Previous supervisory, crew lead or leadership experience. Ability to travel for extended periods, including overnight stays. Ability to be on-call for emergency response. Valid Driver’s license. Ability to perform physical functions per job requirements. Successfully complete a background check, drug test, and physical per position. Per OSHA respiratory protection standards, employees in positions requiring respirators must meet facial hair standards where applicable. Preferred Qualifications
Experience with heavy equipment (e.g., bobcats, excavators). Environmental and/or industrial experience (site remediation, spill response, hydro blasting, vacuum truck, tank cleaning, refinery work). Commercial driver license (CDL). Equal Opportunity
