Support the production line operation, including disassembly and re-assembly of equipment, cleaning and sanitation of combos, totes, tubs, machinery, floors and walls, and maintenance of wastewater removal equipment. Complete tasks following standard operating procedures, including filling out log sheets and other sanitation-related paperwork. Follow all Personnel Safety and Food Safety policies/procedures, GMPs, and plant rules. Ensure the safe operation of plant equipment and machinery and the safe use of tools; maintain safety of others in the immediate area. Know the production schedule for the product(s) being run and verify proper totes/tubs are cleaned and available. Know proper sanitation procedures and the order of cleaning chemical usage. Inspect totes and tubs for appearance; remove or isolate damaged totes. Maintain the in-place sanitation system with proper cleaning chemicals. Communicate sanitation issues with production supervisors to ensure awareness among all parties. At end of shift, secure equipment, perform general housekeeping, and turn in all required paperwork. Ability to work overtime as department and plant operations demand; flexible hours as needed. Disassemble and re-assemble equipment; work in a wet environment and use cleaning chemicals to facilitate cleaning and sanitizing. Work with minimum supervision; read and comprehend written procedures, MSDS, and chemical mixing/use instructions. Qualifications

Minimum Basic mathematical skills (addition and subtraction). Education and Experience requirement: Basic mathematical skills required; addition and subtraction. Preferred 6–12 months of continuous work history High school diploma or equivalent Previous manufacturing experience in the meat industry is preferred Previous sanitation experience highly desirable IndSPR-Ops Relocation Package Available No Benefits
