Responsibilities
The Global Market Intelligence Analyst has responsibility for conducting global sales analysis and establishing consistent sales forecast reporting globally.
Support analyses and create/maintain global models in the areas of product line trends and product mix changes.
Support Global Market Intelligence in tracking and reporting Abbott share position and performance metrics that will be used in tactical and strategic business decisions for Abbotts Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) portfolio.
Works closely with geographic partners via matrix (finance, marketing & sales) to align on sales and Abbott share at a country/regional level.
Ensure units are accurately captured in global forecasts.
Quickly develop understanding of Cardiac Rhythm Management products, procedures and market dynamics. Essential success factors for the position include attention to detail and high-level analytical skills with expertise in Excel, working under tight deadlines.
Assist is collecting and recording competitive activities collected by the group at a regular cadence
Champion improvements in data quality, reporting processes, and analytics capabilities
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelors degree in Finance, Statistics, Information Science, or related field.
3+ years
Experience in analyst role.
Proven ability to translate data to insights.
Advanced Excel and analytical skills required. Use of Excel for data manipulation and complex custom reports.
A collaborative team member with excellent communication, and stakeholder engagement skills. Preferred
Experience in Salesforce, PowerBI for access and analysis of data.
Ability to effectively prioritize projects that align with corporate priorities.
Excellent planning, organization and communication skills.
Medical Device experience.
