Match Middle School has an opening for a Spanish Teacher (Long-term Substitute) who can work full-time starting in mid-November to cover a staff leave. The term of employment will be approximately 14 weeks, with potential for continued employment. This position is located at the Match Middle School campus on 215 Forest Hills St., Jamaica Plain. Working hours are Monday-Friday, 7:00am-2:45pm. Professional development on Wednesdays runs until 4:30pm. The annual salary rate for Match teaching positions ranges from
$61,812 – $98,899 , based on prior teaching experience. Match offers a comprehensive benefits package including 90% coverage of health insurance costs and student loan repayment assistance. Responsibilities
Teach four middle school Spanish classes per day Develop daily lessons aligned with the Spanish curriculum in collaboration with department colleagues and leadership team members Uphold high academic and behavioral expectations for students and provide substantial support to help students achieve them Participate actively in Match’s coaching and professional development programming Assist with school programming as needed during non-instructional time Serve as a positive and collaborative member of the Match Charter Public School community Qualifications
