The Chicago College of Performing Arts/Roosevelt University is seeking a part-time instructor to teach an online class, ARTM 480.98/ ARTM 380.98 –
TECHNOLOGY STRATEGY AND ITS ROLE IN THE PERFORMING ARTS , to graduate students in the Master’s in Performing Arts Administration Program for the upcoming spring semester, 01/20/26 to 05/11/26. Class size for the Spring 2026 semester will most likely be less than 10 students.
This class will be delivered fully online. The instructor does not need to be located in the vicinity of Chicago.
Topics covered should include: the role of technology in marketing and distribution, including social media, the internet, streaming, radio, TV, podcasts, etc.; the use of technology to increase access; the use of technology to expand and sustain audiences.
Applications will be reviewed as received and the deadline to submit is by November 12th.
Please note the pay for this position is dependent on enrollment.
Job Duties:
Online delivery of course material, including creating assignments and evaluation of students’ work.
Clear and timely communication.
Timely submission of all grades.
Consistent usage of Roosevelt University email address (to be assigned upon onboarding).
Submission of a syllabus each semester (university-mandated template will be provided) documenting all class policies, expectations, procedures, and grading criteria.

Master’s degree in Music or a related field
University or college level teaching experience.

Required Education Bachelor's Degree
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree; substantial professional experience and documented success in technology strategies at a performing arts organization.
Preferred Qualifications: University or college level teaching experience.
