Overview
Omni Hotels & Resorts is seeking a full-time Housekeeping Coordinator PM for the Barton Creek Resort & Spa in Austin, TX. The property is ranked among the best resorts in Texas and the Southwest. Responsibilities
Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Omni standards, as required by scheduling which will vary according to the needs of the resort.
Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, including wearing the proper attire/uniform and name tag when working.
Respond to all phone calls/requests from guests and other departments.
Monitor computer system, PMS, stats.
Assign rooms to be cleaned each day to room attendants.
Dispatch specific requests to floor supervisors and runners.
Report any needed repairs or discrepancies of guest rooms.
Ensure that all Guest Room Attendants have appropriate supplies and linens.
Maintain a safe and secure environment for hotel, guests and associates.
Maintain clear and efficient communication with the Front Desk.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in department.
Prepare paperwork for next day opening and verify schedules. Make changes to associate schedules as needed.
Demonstrate knowledge of hotel facilities and events.
Complete other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
Ability to maintain 4-Diamond level cleanliness standards.
Strong attention to detail with a sense of urgency as required.
Must be able to communicate via radio and phone as needed.
Ability to work cohesively with co-workers and management both within and outside of your department.
Ability to accurately and efficiently input information into computer systems.
Bilingual preferred, in both English and Spanish.
