We're a one‑of‑a‑kind marketplace for buying and selling special objects! Each week we offer over 75,000 unique items in auction, carefully curated by our passionate in‑house experts. Having sold over 20 million unique objects to date, we’re on a mission to become the world’s most popular destination for special objects. As a growing, diverse and sustainable scale‑up, we proudly live by our core values:

Taking ownership and driving impact

Being open to change and feedback

Being passionate about our mission and our customers

About The Role As an Account Manager / Business Developer in the Art Supercluster Sales team, your mission is to drive profitable growth by developing and managing a portfolio of high‑value art sellers across Belgium and possibly neighboring regions. Beyond managing existing accounts, you’ll play a key role in prospecting and onboarding new sellers: artists, art dealers and galleries.

Working closely with Catawiki’s in‑house art experts, you’ll help execute strategies to accelerate revenue growth. This role combines a results‑driven sales mindset with a genuine passion for art, building lasting relationships that foster success for both our sellers and Catawiki.

You’ll report directly to the Sales Manager and collaborate with a dynamic team of art‑focused sales professionals and experts.

What You’ll Do

Develop medium and long‑term strategic growth plans for your sellers, aligned with the Art strategy and KPIs.

Build and maintain strong, long‑term relationships with your sellers through calls, meetings, and attendance at art fairs and events.

Partner with art experts to source lots for auctions and organize single‑seller auctions.

Educate and challenge sellers to meet KPIs such as reserve price optimisation and quality standards.

Use data insights to design and run seller incentive programmes that drive performance.

Present account progress, insights and results to senior management and peers.

What You’ll Bring

A Master’s or Bachelor’s degree, ideally in Business, Economics, or Sales.

Fluency in Dutch, French and English, and the ability to adapt your message to different audiences.

A true self‑starter: organized, proactive and confident working independently in a remote setup.

Proven sales experience, with a strong ability to negotiate, build value and make data work for you.

A genuine passion for art and a solid understanding of the art market ecosystem.

Comfortable with Google Workspace (Sheets, Slides) and using data insights to drive results.

Experience with CRM tools like HubSpot, or an eagerness to master them quickly.
