Senior Billing Specialist . This is an exciting opportunity for those eager to contribute to a thriving firm where excellence is at the core of what we do. This position allows the flexibility to work from home, with periodic in-office presence required for monthly team meetings, events, and training opportunities. The role can be based out of our global operations center in Brandon, FL or the Firm's Dallas office. Key Responsibilities: Manage all billing functions for assigned client accounts and specialized practice groups. Generate invoices using Aderant software and ensure compliance with client-specific electronic billing guidelines. Collaborate closely with the Collections team to support collection activities. Assist in new client onboarding by ensuring matter setups align with outside counsel guidelines and engagement letters. Handle a high volume of complex bills while reviewing and editing pre-bills based on attorney requests. Ensure accurate billing and supporting documentation for all invoices. Take full ownership of electronic billing processes from invoice creation to payment approval. Prepare ad hoc reports for attorneys as needed. Build relationships with billing attorneys and client contacts to maintain strong client relationships. Participate in special projects and additional duties as assigned. Qualifications: 5+ years of relevant experience as a Biller/Ebiller, preferably within a law firm. Strong technical skills and proficiency in Windows-based software as well as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively to meet critical deadlines. Excellent attention to detail and strong interpersonal skills. Self-starter who adapts well to changing priorities and demands. General understanding of the revenue cycle, including accounts payable processes. Proficiency in Aderant, Elite, eBillingHub, or BillBlast software is preferred. Bachelor's degree required, though relevant legal work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
