About The Position Job Title: Interventional Technologist Profession: Interventional Technologist Specialty: Vascular Duration: 13 weeks Shift: AM Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum years of experience required License: RT (R) Interventional Radiology preferred Certifications: Required registries Must-Have: - Siemens equipment experience - Assist doctors in endovascular repairs of AAA - Knowledge of lower extremity angiograms and fistulagrams - Understanding of endovascular supplies and operating room expectations Description: The Interventional Technologist will play a critical role in the vascular unit. The technologist assists doctors during endovascular procedures. Responsibilities include performing endovascular repairs of AAA. The role also involves conducting lower extremity angiograms and fistulagrams. Knowledge of endovascular supplies is essential. The technologist is expected to adhere to operating room standards. An aspect of the role includes being on-call for 15 days a month. The ideal candidate must be prepared for a fast-paced work environment.
