As a Senior EEG Monitoring Technologist, you will play a critical role in real-time monitoring of continuous and intermittent EEG. Your expertise in detecting abnormalities will ensure the highest level of care for our patients. We are looking for a highly motivated, reliable, and experienced professional in the Neurodiagnostics field capable of independently providing thorough monitoring and oversight. Responsibilities: Demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge of adult EEG patterns, both normal and abnormal. Efficiently differentiate artifacts from genuine cortical activity. Monitor, detect, clip, and prune EEG abnormalities with precision. Maintain a daily cEEG log adhering to industry standards and facility policies. Exhibit competency in operating EEG equipment and troubleshooting issues as they arise. Possess fundamental computer skills for effective data entry and documentation. Understand medical terminology, along with ACNS EEG description terminology and abbreviations relevant to neurodiagnostics. Interact with hospital staff, oversight neurologists, and remote technologists in a professional manner. Prune ambulatory studies to support accurate diagnostics. Requirements: Associate's or Bachelor's degree, or graduation from a CAAHEP accredited Neurodiagnostic Technologist program or a related advanced degree. PREFERRED: CLTM Certification. Registered EEG Technologist (REEGT) and one additional registry certification such as CLTM, CPSGT, RPSGT, NCS.T, NCT, or NVS. Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certificate is required. Minimum of 2 years of Neurodiagnostic experience. BLS certification must be active at the time of hire and valid for at least sixty days post-hire.
