Job Description

We are seeking an Aerospace Structural Design Engineer to apply engineering and physical science principles, materials knowledge, and design tools in a collaborative environment. The engineer will develop, integrate, document, and evaluate flight vehicle structural designs to ensure performance, functional adequacy, cost-effectiveness, manufacturability, and compliance with customer and regulatory requirements. Areas of focus may include primary and secondary structure design, payload integration, weight analysis, and lofting.

Develop and evaluate structural designs for flight vehicles.

Ensure designs meet performance, functional, and regulatory requirements.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams on design, integration, and documentation.

Apply knowledge of metallic structural design.

Utilize CATIA and Boeing design processes; experience with ENOVIA preferred.

Work on Boeing or Spirit AeroSystems commercial structures, with emphasis on primary structures.

Support product development, new design, and post-delivery evaluations.

Qualifications: Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required; engineering degrees strongly preferred over drafter/technical designer backgrounds.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in aerospace structural design, ideally with Boeing, Airbus, or Spirit AeroSystems.

Experience with primary and secondary structures, payloads, lofting, and weight analysis.

Strong collaboration and communication skills.
