We are seeking a Senior FP&A Analyst to play a key role in financial planning and analysis for a global software company. This position will lead critical FP&A processes—forecasting, budgeting, long-range planning, variance analysis, and financial modeling—while driving improvements in tools and reporting. You will partner with business leaders and finance teams across Germany, Switzerland, and the US to deliver insights that support strategic decisions. The role is onsite in our Wrocław office. Key Responsibilities
Planning & Forecasting:
Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasting cycles and support long-range planning. Consolidate inputs from multiple functions and regions, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
Variance Analysis & Reporting:
Analyze actuals vs. plan/forecast in Excel for monthly close and quarterly reviews, identify key drivers, and prepare clear narratives for leadership. Present and deliver executive-ready PPT presentations for monthly close and quarterly reviews.
Financial Modeling:
Build and maintain driver-based models to support scenario planning and decision-making. Continuously improve modeling standards and documentation.
Process & Tool Enhancement:
Streamline FP&A processes, standardize templates, and enhance automation. Develop dashboards and KPIs using Power BI or similar tools (nice to have).
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Partner with business units and corporate FP&A to align assumptions and methodologies. Support ad-hoc analysis for strategic initiatives and business cases.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, or similar quantitative field; MBA/CPA/CFA a plus. 6+ years FP&A experience in an international environment, ideally in software. Advanced Excel and PowerPoint; experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and planning tools (OneStream, Anaplan, Adaptive). Familiarity with BI tools (Power BI or Tableau) for dashboards and reporting is a big plus. Strong understanding of financial statements and planning processes; knowledge of IFRS/US GAAP helpful. Excellent communication skills in English; German is a plus. Job Benefits
