BOSS JCB - Accounting and HR Coordinator

Position Purpose
Performs a combination of payroll, benefits administration, and certain accounting functions commensurate with experience. This position will also assist with certain insurance and fleet administration and other support responsibilities.
Requirements
Discretion, confidentiality and good judgement.
2+ years’ experience in payroll processing and employee benefits preferred.
Knowledge of payroll processing and programs; ADP Workforce Now will be a plus.
Educational and work experience in accounting. An understanding of accounting fundamentals such as debits, credits, accounts receivable, accounts payable is required.
Understands or willingness to invest in understanding common human resource / HR policies, including minimum wage laws, confidentiality policies, employee notification requirements, and other regulatory policies
Proficiency with standard desktop applications such as Microsoft Office plus internet functions
High level of attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality
Degree in an Accounting/Finance/Human Resources discipline preferred
Responsibilities
Exercising discretion and confidentiality are critical in this roll.
Performing certain accounting activities based on previous experience and willingness to
Accurately process payroll on scheduled dates using ADP Workforce Now
Preparing the payroll entry using custom tools provided by the Company
Supports the onboarding of new employees with the goal to facilitate a smooth start in their new position by ensuring all tools and logins are available upon arrival and doing your part to make the new person feel welcome and enabled to succeed.
Runs and reviews monthly sales commission reports providing same to Director of Sales.
Performs general HR functions, including enrolling employees in elected medical benefit programs using ADP Workforce Now and other vendor portals.
Fleet and Driver administration, including issuance of credit cards, fuel cards, toll tags and other.
