Kooth Digital Health
About Kooth
At Kooth, our mission is to create a welcoming space for effective personalized digital mental health care that is available to all. We do this by leveraging an early intervention model and theory of change that empowers young people (13-25 years old) to overcome challenges, unlock their full potential, and lead fulfilling lives. We\'re not just a service; we are a culture of care – committed to inclusivity, innovation, and impact. Our culture is driven by our values - Alongside You, Flexible, Compassionate, Committed, and Safe. These values are present in the work that we do, the environment in which we do it, and in the relationships we have with our service users, peers, and leaders. With Kooth, you will be a part of something bigger than yourself. We offer more than just a job. We offer you the chance to positively impact one of the greatest challenges of our time. What We’re Looking For
As a Community Engagement Lead (CEL), you’ll be the local face of Soluna in New Jersey. You’ll spend your days out in the field — connecting with local community organizations, attending youth-centered events, talking with parents, and most importantly, teens themselves. You’re not afraid to think outside the box or get creative about where and how to show up. Whether that’s hosting a table at a school wellness fair, chatting with teens at a youth event, or pitching a Paint & Sip night at a local café, you know how to bring energy, approachability, and authenticity to every interaction. This role is perfect for someone who’s resourceful, energetic, and excited to build something new. You’ll thrive here if you love meeting people, making connections, and taking initiative to get Soluna in front of as many young people as possible. What You’ll Do Act as a local ambassador for Soluna, representing our mission with enthusiasm and professionalism across New Jersey.
Engage directly with youth, parents, educators, and community partners through presentations, field events, workshops, and outreach visits.
Identify and pursue creative, non-traditional outreach opportunities (think: youth events, coffee shops, rec centers, sports programs, etc.) to reach teens where they really are.
Deliver dynamic, relatable presentations about Soluna — adapting tone and style for different audiences.
Problem-solve on the fly: if an event changes last minute, you’re quick to reprioritize and find a solution.
Follow through on outreach — if you say you’ll stop by or email someone, you do.
Collaborate closely with Kooth’s Field Marketing and Marketing teams to share insights from the community, brainstorm activations, and refine local strategies.
Use social media or digital tools to amplify awareness and excitement for Soluna in your community.
Who You Are Creative and solution-oriented. You like figuring things out — whether that’s how to connect with a new organization or how to make a small event feel big.
Energetic and adaptable. You enjoy being out in the field and can adjust your approach depending on who you’re talking to — teens, school staff, parents, or healthcare providers.
Scrappy and self-motivated. You don’t always need a big budget or a big team to make an impact — you’re resourceful and proactive.
Reliable and organized. You follow through on commitments and know how to prioritize what matters most each day.
Confident communicator. You’re comfortable speaking in front of groups and excited about sharing Soluna with new audiences.
Community-minded. You’re passionate about helping young people access mental health support — and you care deeply about representing their voices authentically.

What You’ll Bring:
1–4 years of experience in community engagement, marketing, youth programs, or a related field (early-career candidates encouraged to apply!)
Comfort with public speaking and interpersonal communication.

A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel across New Jersey, mostly in the Northern region.
Familiarity with or interest in youth mental health and digital well-being.
