Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused HR Coordinator to serve as the primary point of contact for walk-ins, new hires, and current team members. This role provides frontline support for questions related to resumes, transfer requests, onboarding, and other HR processes. Responsibilities
Serve as primary contact for walk-ins, new hires, and team member questions. Answer questions for team members and external candidates about submitting resumes, transfer requests, etc. Process new hires including running background checks, E-Verify, drug testing, explaining and reviewing all paperwork to ensure completeness and accurate information, and explaining the Drug-free Workplace procedure required by the company. Process name changes, direct-deposits, benefit enrollment & lifestyle changes Maintain team member I-9s Perform time-keeping functions (utilizing Kronos) for assigned departments Check rehire status on all applicants Request and ensure receipt and transfer of personnel files for team members transferring to and from other locations Scan personnel files in Image Quest, update team member files to document personnel actions and provide information for payroll and other uses Facilitate New-Hire Orientation Complete and audit new-hire paperwork for processing Qualifications
Demonstrated ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times concerning team member and company issues Ability to manage tasks simultaneously Excellent interpersonal skills A strong work ethic Intermediate proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Publisher Time-keeping experience preferred Experience working with an HRIS system; ADP experience is a plus Education & Certifications
Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school in Business Administration with a Human Resources focus - preferred Benefits
