Financial Services - Customer Tax Operations and Reporting - Tax Services Analyst-EDGE. Location: Anywhere in country. The role supports the Customer Tax Operations practice with tax information reporting and related reconciliation activities for engagements with banks, wealth and asset management firms and insurance companies. Responsibilities
Support the production of tax information reporting (1099/1042-S/8804), FATCA/CRS reporting, and tax withholding certificate validation (Forms W-8/W-9) and related reconciliations for engagements with financial services clients. Participate in day-to-day client engagements, ensuring a quality work product and timely delivery of services to meet deadlines. Collaborate within a highly team-oriented culture, communicating and sharing information with colleagues to support client objectives. Routinely communicate with the immediate supervisor and colleagues to obtain guidance, provide status updates, and discuss recommendations for correcting data issues to support accuracy in tax reporting. Qualifications
Bachelor degree (Accounting, Business, Finance or equivalent preferred) 1–2 years of experience Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint; ability to learn other software applications Working knowledge of 1099/1042-S reporting systems Working knowledge of tax compliance and information reporting rules Ability to work effectively both independently and with a team; capable of supporting projects of varying complexity Ability to train less experienced team members on administrative tasks and tasks supporting the tax compliance process Excellent organizational and verbal/written communication skills Ability to follow standardized processes and ask questions when needed Prioritization of assignments to achieve appropriate workflow and timely production of client deliverables Willingness to travel periodically (5%–10%) Ideally You’ll Also Have
Experience in a professional services environment Experience in information reporting and withholding tax laws for US federal and state returns Experience with tax withholding validation and withholding certificates Experience with FATCA/CRS reporting templates Strong analytical skills and attention to detail Ability to adapt work style to collaborate with internal and client teams Proficiency in trust tax software What We Look For
