IT Asset Management, EOL Governance Manager, VP Job Summary:
The Technology Program Management position is required to drive the completion and sustainability of the firm’s End of Life (EOL) commitments and of EOL Program assessment, remediation, and governance by managing and coordinating necessary work. The high-level responsibilities include managing: Drive EOL Program strategy, governance, and end-to-end processes by creating and leading cross-functional teams as needed to meet program requirements (e.g., Cybersecurity, Enterprise Architecture, Lines of Defense, Executive Leadership, Application System Managers, Infrastructure Platform Owners). Execute the organization's objectives and commitments regarding EOL identification and remediation (Regulatory and Audit exams and issues, self-identified issues, information risk control operations, maturity and enhancement initiatives). Drive proactive risk remediation by identifying cost avoidance opportunities. Coordination, management, and escalation of EOL assessment and remediation activities including prioritization and interdependencies among systems, projects, and numerous BAU efforts and initiatives. Validate technical details of EOL remediation plans to ensure alignment with Enterprise Architecture standards across the entire application stack, including middleware, operating system, database, network, messaging, virtualization layer and containers. Prioritize IT work; drive development of proposals, work and resource plans, training plans, budgets and reports; monitor, track, support or manage the work by leading matrix managed teams. Ensure technology and business objectives are aligned across teams as it relates to risk remediation activities. Timely identification of risks and issues and conflict resolution, escalating for timely resolution as necessary. Set frequency and type of interactions, extent of involvement for stakeholders and develops a dispute resolution process to ensure effective communication flow among stakeholders, team members, and all IT functions who participate in and impact the results of the IT work efforts. Compilation of EOL and remediation data/information to ensure timely, accurate, complete reporting to leadership. Drive governance of System of Record IT Asset Lifecycle data quality to ensure complete and accurate EOL identification. Provide guidance and feedback to other MUFG entities on EOL Technology Program Management. Qualifications: 5 to 6 years' experience working in an enterprise technology environment with a solid understanding of enterprise architectures and application technology components, including middleware, server and desktop operating systems, database, network, messaging, and virtualization layers. Knowledge of container architecture and AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.) a plus. 2-3 years’ experience working with risk management frameworks (preferably with a financial institution). Experience working in ServiceNow including CMDB, reporting and ServiceNow's HAMPro and SAMPro modules. Strong project management background with ability to drive results in a BAU environment without formal project management structure. Strong knowledge of IT software and hardware methodologies, processes, and procedures. Strong knowledge of IT Service Management standards and processes (Change Mgt, Release Mgt, Capacity Mgt, etc.). Comfortable working in a global collaboration environment across all levels of leadership. Excellent organization and self-management skills. Excellent analytical thinker with strong attention to detail. Additional Information: “Visa sponsorship/support is based on business needs. We do not anticipate providing visa sponsorship/support for this position.” The typical base pay range for this role is between $143K - $182K depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
